Lifetime entrepreneur Ry Smith, founded Book Companion out of his own frustration. After putting a book down for several days, he wasn’t sure who the characters were when he returned. Talking to friends and book club members, it seemed to be a universal problem. Listing key characters with brief descriptions in the chapters where they are introduced solved it and Book Companion was formed.

Ry's family and friends also contribute suggestions and technical advice and where would we be without our wonderful editors who continually edit our book club desirable and best-selling books: Christina (Aka: Kristine), Kristian, Jane, Remy and Jeffrey.
