·       Rina Lazarus: Decker's wife, a therapist who is also investigating the murder of the young boy. She is a kind and compassionate woman who is determined to help Decker find the killer and to bring them to justice. She is also a bit of a dreamer who is always up for a new adventure.

·       Noam: A young boy who is found murdered in the Orthodox Jewish community. He is a kind and compassionate boy who is loved by everyone who knows him. He is also a bit of a mystery to Decker and Rina, as they struggle to understand why anyone would want to hurt him.

·       Yakov: Noam's father, a rabbi who is struggling to come to terms with his son's death. He is a kind and compassionate man who is determined to find out who killed his son and to bring them to justice. He is also a bit of a traditionalist who is not afraid to stand up for what he believes in.

·       Rabbi Samuel: A rabbi who is sympathetic to Decker and Rina's investigation. He is a kind and compassionate man who is determined to help them in any way he can. He is also a bit of a maverick who is not afraid to bend the rules if he feels it is necessary.

·       Avram: A suspect in the murder of Noam. He is a young man who is struggling with his faith and his place in the Orthodox Jewish community. He is also a bit of a mystery to Decker and Rina, as they struggle to understand his motives.
